Google Releases Android 8.1 (Oreo) Preview To Developers, Check Features

Android 8 was released in August but Google is already working on Android 8.1 and the company has released preview to android developers.
The Android 8.1 preview can be download from the Official Android Developers Website.
The features of the new Android OS 8.1 includes:
  • Neural Network API (NNAPI)
  • Changes made to notifications.
  • Improved support and targeting for low-RAM devices.
  • Autofill Framework updates.
  • EditText Update.
  • Programmatic Safe Browsing Actions.
  • Updated Video Thumbnail Extractor.
  • Improved SharedMemory API.
  • Improved WallpaperColors API.
  • Fingerprint Updates and lots more.

Changes Made To:
NOTIFICIATIONS
Apps can now only make a notification alert sound once per second. Alert sounds that exceed this rate aren't queued and are lost. This change doesn't affect other aspects of notification behavior and notification messages still post as expected.
