Samsung's Android Oreo beta is Now Available For Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Owners

The Samsung Experience 9.0 is now available bringing a beta version of the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system to owners of Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus in the United States, United Kingdom and South Korea.

On November 2, 2017, Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Experience 9.0 beta, part of the Galaxy beta program which "offers select customers a chance to experience new features available through the Galaxy ecosystem".

Samsung Experience 9.0 is built on the latest version of the operating system built on the Android Oreo User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) , and will be available on the next flagship Galaxy device. Samsung announced that Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus owners in the countries mentioned above will have the opportunity to preview the Samsung Experience 9.0 before it is officially released.

Samsung believes that the beta period will enable the company to gather helpful insights and feedback from their first impression of the Samsung Experience 9.0 beta's efficiency, usability and to develop a higher high performing software package leading to improved user experience.

People interested in the Samsung Experience 9.0 beta can register through the Samsung+ or Samsung Member apps which are available on the Google Play Store and the Galaxy apps. Samsung warns however that the Experience 9.0 beta should be used with caution as unexpected errors might occur when running the software.
