This Man Was Able To Unlock His Brother's iPhone X Using Face ID

iPhone X POSSIBLE FACE ID BUG?

Apple's latest flagship phone, the new iPhone X is suffering from different little (well, you can call it big) flaws ranging from activation issues to security problems.

This security issue was demonstrated in a video posted on reddit by monanishs. Two brothers demonstrate how they are able to unlock an iPhone X owned by one of them using the Face ID facial recognition security option. He tagged the video: iPhone X Face ID fail?

According to the first brother who is the owner of the new iPhone X, "he (little brother) is five years younger than me. We are not twins.

In the video, the two brothers are wearing obviously similar glasses. With his glasses on, the younger brother can unlock his brother's new Apple iPhone X. Without the glasses, the Face ID security actually works. Call it little bug ?.

As stated by Apple, the Face ID security feature is even more reliable than touch ID. There is only chance in a million that another person can be able to unlock your phone through the Face ID security measure. However, as the video clearly shows, Apple also acknowledged that the Face ID may turn out to be less secure when it comes to twins or siblings with similar facial features and shapes.

This is funny but if your brother looks exactly like you, you may find the old passcode option to be more meaningful depending on the level of trust.

The brothers have also posted a new video on YouTube captioned: Update: iPhone X Face ID bug.
