Top 3: Best Alternatives to Apple's iPhone X

The new iPhone X by Apple is a little bit pricey but many people can comfortably afford it anyway. However, some may not like it due to reasons best know to them. It may not even the price that put them off, we all have preferences.

This write-up considers the best smartphones that can rival iPhone X. The iPhone X costs $1000 but you can get an Android smartphone with cutting edge specifications for lesser price.

The iPhone X is undoubtedly a beast of an handset packed with many features. The capacity of  the phone is either 64GB or 256GB depending on price and of course your taste.

1. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are beasts. Galaxy S8 boats of absolutely stunning infinity display. The phone is also easy to hold. Note that S8 Plus is more expensive.

Irises have patterns that are unique to only you and therefore can not be replicated by another person. This makes it an incredibly good security measure. Note that Iris refers to the colored, ring-shaped part of your eye.

2. Huawei Mate 10 Pro

Trust me, this phone boasts of amazing and incredible features. It has impressive display and it is quite fast and performant. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the first of its kind to be driven by a Kirin 970 processor which has some AI-type features. This flagship phone by Huawei is quite fast and 'speedy' and features 20MP and 12MP Sensors, f/1.6 aperture, OIS, 2x lossless zoom, Leica optics, phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash.

FINGERPRINT- Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass.
The fingerprint is thought to be more practical and faster than the Face ID feature on the iPhone X by Apple.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro's dimension is 154.2 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm (6.07 x 2.93 x 0.31 in) and it weighs 178g. The flagship phone has a 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio screen (2160 x 1080 pixels). It's expected to be available in November (this month) at a price of 799 euros for the 128GB version.

3.OnePlus 5T

The OnePlus 5T has just been officially revealed today and it will launch with a feature many of its rivals have abandoned. There was reports that OnePlus would ditch the "T" naming convention and that the phone will be called OnePlus 6. OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau has confirmed however that the phone will be named OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also confirmed that the phone will launch with a very important feature, the Headphone Port. Many of OnePlus rivals including HTC, Google and Apple have ditched the headphone(3.5mm) socket but OnePlus didn't see this as a good idea. According to him, most users are concerned with audio quality and wireless earbuds have not gotten to that level.

The OnePlus 5T will feature an impressive edge-to-edge display. Like Samsung, reports suggest that OnePlus will also keep bezels around the screen. This will enable the company to keep up with competitions.

The OnePlus 5T will use  6-inch display, 18.9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 resolution just like the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The phone will be available by the end of November (this month) or early December according to reports.

The price for the OnePlus 5 was £449. There is an obvious possibility that the price of OnePlus 5T will be higher than this. Keep your fingers crossed.
